[24/09/2008] SEEREN2 Successfully Brings Leading-edge Technologies to Research & Education Communities and all Scientific Sectors
The SEEREN2 project (South East European Research & Education Network 2), the 34-months project that created the next generation of the Southeast European segment of GÉANT2, successfully reached its end in August 2008. Leading-edge technologies and services are now available to the entire Research and Education communities and all scientific sectors of the region.

The Educational and Networking community of Bosnia and Herzegovina has made another leapfrog towards the overcoming of the digital divide that will provide equal opportunities for researchers being attained and enhance attempts to build the extended European Research Area (ERA) in the region.

[04/10/2006] The First SEERENT2 Summer School Praised by Students
The first SEEREN2 Summer School was highly appreciated by more than twenty students from a number of southeastern European and Black Sea region countries. The three-day training event was organised by TERENA as part of its work in the European Union SEEREN2 project. Invited participants in the event were Access Port Managers (APMs) and experts from the Network Operation Centres of national research and education networking organisations and universities in the region.
